Selling your home, what are the deal breakers?

Selling your home, what are the deal breakers?

Have you been living in your home for years, if so, here are tips for what buyers are looking for when they buy.

Some of the top needs: oversized garages, a 4th bedroom, in-unit washers and dryers (not in the garage).

Today’s other dealbreakers may surprise some sellers.

Here are some of the most wanted, a great kitchen with the following: A double kitchen sink and a walk-in pantry were rated essential or desirable by 81% of buyers, with 42% saying that the double sink was essential. A central Island with seating around the island with natural stone or granite is also important. Do you have recessed lighting or a large area for a large dining table? One of my must haves are a water filtration system. Curb appeal is also important with drought tolerant plants.

When it is time to walk through the home with my sellers, we will check to see what they are able to upgrade to make the home more desirable for buyers. How many boxes can you tick off on this list to sell your home?
